Guess who remembered to put ice in the glass first this time. It was me! I'm not sure that you can make it out in one picture, as the ice seemed to adhere to the bottom of the glass at first. Nevertheless, I clearly made a bold step forward in my cocktail presentation. As usual, I'm putting off the ones that I don't expect to like as much. This is the third in a four pack, and I think I have made my ambivalent feelings about peach known. I'm not sure what the punch part of this beverage is, but I hope it's another fruit that can balance out the peach fairly well.
I'm not sure the bright orange really is going to come through in the pictures. The sucker is pretty bright. I don't think I've mentioned it so far, either, but none of these are carbonated. Some manufacturers of lemonades would do well to remember that you don't have to carbonate everything. As it is, the alcohol is not particularly prominent in any of these, and these are 7%. Most of those lemonades linger around 5%. So, spiking the beverage doesn't necessitate carbonation. The aroma should have a little bit of orange coming through, but the peach is really driving the bus here.
First sip reminds me of why I don't drink punch. No matter what punch it is, it seems like all of them have that same weird kind of punch flavor that they then add the specific fruit too. I'm not sure what punch is, strictly speaking. Either way, this taste like punch that you would have at a high school formal dance that has been politely spiked by someone who got a hold of a little bit of rum. The punch in question has focused on peach. I'm not sure if this description makes you think that I like it or that I don't like it. I'm not sure if I do like it or not like it. I'm guessing I don't.
